Program helps students log daily nutrition, exercise

A Michigan school district is using the online program myNutratek to help encourage students in K-12 and their families to log what they eat each day, as well as their physical activities and sleeping habits. The free program also allows parents to view school-meal menus each day. Officials say the program is intended to start a dialogue about health and nutrition to help curb childhood obesity.
