Sequestration will force FAA furloughs, LaHood says

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood says the Federal Aviation Administration will be forced to furlough employees if sequestration takes effect Friday. "Safety will not be compromised. But we will have to work with the airlines in slowing planes down," he said during a television appearance.
