Treehouse CEO sees premium private-label growth

Sales of premium private-label products are growing quickly as consumers seek out organic and natural products, said Sam Reed, CEO of Treehouse Foods. "That has been a great opportunity for us across a number of categories and, frankly, something that has materialized in a bigger and faster way than I would've expected a year ago when we were completely preoccupied with dealing with the discount side of the business," he said.
