Boeing, Lockheed remain lead DOD contractors in 2007

Boeing and Lockheed Martin remained the top Pentagon contractors in 2007, according to an analysis of DOD transactions. Boeing had $8.4 billion in contracts or modifications, followed by Lockheed with $7.9 billion. Fixed-wing costs accounted for the largest portion of DOD contract and modification spending last year.
