South Korea purchases robotic teaching assistants

South Korean students will soon learn English from robots as part of the "R-Learning" programme that will place robotic teaching assistants in thousands of preschool and kindergarten classrooms over the next three years. The robots, which will recite stories and lead sing-alongs, were purchased to help fill a shortage of English teachers in the country.
