Utah House passes bill prohibiting covert surveillance on farms

The Utah House passed a bill making it a class A misdemeanor to hide recording equipment on a farm and a class B misdemeanor to trespass and record farm activities or record video or take photos after being asked not to do so. The bill was introduced by veterinarian and farmer Rep. John Mathis.
