Airbus says Singapore Airlines is jet-shopping

Airbus says Singapore Airlines is looking to buy more planes, and it will suggest the A350 model to the carrier. In October, Singapore Airlines agreed to order five more A380s and 20 A350-900s. "We're in discussions with them," said John Leahy, Airbus' chief operating officer. "They are also looking at other aircraft. They issued a request for proposal on that to Airbus, to Boeing, to engine manufacturers. Anything else, I can't comment."
