The argument against Yahoo's work-from-home policy

Yahoo told workers this week that all work-from-home arrangements will end by June, a surprising policy change and one not likely to last in the Internet age, Minda Zetlin writes. Telecommuting doesn't work for everyone, she writes, but studies suggest that employees are more productive working from home, and the option makes an employer more attractive when recruiting.
