Engineering jobs are abundant in the wind-energy sector, experts say

Wind-energy programs create job opportunities for a range of engineers, who are needed for research and development of wind turbines and for construction and maintenance of wind facilities, according to industry experts. "It's a great field for engineers," said Michele Mihelic of the American Wind Energy Association. "As the industry grows and strengthens, there will always be a need for engineers and other professionals to keep the operation running efficiently and the maintenance up to date," said AWEA's Elizabeth Salerno.
