Exchange order types come under the SEC's microscope

The Securities and Exchange Commission is looking into the process that exchanges use to develop order types, Tom Steinert-Threlkeld writes. "It is important for us to understand how requests for order types are enacted, vetted and approved at each exchange before they get to the commission," says John Polise of the SEC.
