U.K.-based online retailer Swag & Stare built social media engagement into their designer eyewear business by creating a feature that allows customers to upload photos of themselves and "try on" frames, the results of which can be shared on Facebook to get friends' opinions. The feature is aimed at building word-of-mouth marketing for the small firm's uniquely designed frames.
