Ohio high-school students cap off studies with research projects

Students enrolled in Reynoldsburg High School's eSTEM Academy in Ohio are completing research projects intended to engage them in deeper learning as part of a new Capstone program. Many students attend school in the morning and work internships in the afternoon. "It's the commencement of a whole new way of learning. It's about keeping the senior year interesting and relevant. It's about having these students engaged and having the skills to be college- and career-ready," said Bob Wise, head of the nonprofit Alliance for Excellent Education and former West Virginia governor.
