Oscar ads from Samsung, Grey Poupon focus on movies theme

J.C. Penney launched an ambitious campaign during the Oscars telecast, a pictorial letter to Americans by The Bureau agency. Other notable ad appearances: Director Tim Burton made a cameo in a continuation of 72andSunny's "Unicorn Apocalypse" spots for Samsung's Galaxy devices, Diet Coke imported work from the U.K. and London agency BETC in which a hunky landscaper is offered a shaken soda by women in a park, and Grey Poupon turned its classic "Pardon me" ad into a cinematic car chase.
