Starbucks to shift to sustainable palm oil

Starbucks has vowed to switch completely to certified sustainable palm oil by 2015, a move aimed at helping curb the massive deforestation of the rainforests in Indonesia. Palm oil imports to the U.S. jumped 485% in the past decade, and about 85% of the oil is grown in Indonesia, Malaysia and Papua New Guinea, according to the Rainforest Action Network.
