Verizon expects overseas LTE roaming deals in 2013

Verizon Wireless Chief Technology Officer Nicola Palmer predicted Monday that the carrier would begin to reach roaming deals with overseas carriers this year, which would allow subscribers to obtain 4G speeds while visiting other countries. Palmer said deals involving Long-Term Evolution service have faced delayed because carriers in many other countries are not as far along with 4G as U.S. telecoms.
