Consumer Confidence Drops To 94.1

Reflecting consumers' attitudes about their jobs and income, the U.S. consumer index decreased in February, the first drop in three months. "Consumers may be a little more cautious, but I see no signs that there is any panic developing," said one economist. The index, released today, showed a reading of 97.8 in January.
