Salt reduction plan shows progress in U.K.

Food companies in the U.K. are reducing the salt content in their products as part of a program to heighten consumers' awareness of salt in their diets. The government says salt levels in some snack foods have fallen as much as 25% in the last ten years, and other industry groups are working with Food Standards Agency to reach salt reduction targets.
