Construction boon filtering through New Orleans economy

While recovery was slow to come in New Orleans, it seems today that high-profile, dedicated construction projects are helping the city rebuild while employment and sales-tax collections increase. The top projects of the past year have included the $5.7 billion Task Force Hope for the levees and the Interstate 10 bridge construction between eastern New Orleans and Slidell.
