University Health Care adds partner for cord-blood program

University Health Care has added St. Mark's Hospital in Utah as a partner in its Umbilical Cord Blood Program, which collects blood from the umbilical cord and placenta donated by new mothers for future use to treat leukemia, lymphoma and other diseases. St. Mark's has collected more than 300 cord blood units since August.
