Investors plan ahead to hedge against inflation

More institutional investors are thinking ahead about strategies for combating inflation, Clear Path Analysis reports. Analysts expect to see increasing costs in areas such as energy and health care in the coming decades, in addition to slower growth. "In order to try to target inflation as a whole, you really need to think about having a diverse mix of real assets that would be effective in providing purchasing power protection against multiple drivers of inflation," manager Yigal Jhirad says.
