ABC's Oscars telecast attracted 40.3 million viewers, a slight increase from last year's 39.3 million and the best overall numbers in three years. The show also boosted its 18-to-49 audience by 11% over last year. Meanwhile, first-time host Seth MacFarlane, who sparked controversy with some of his edgier routines, indicated in a tweet that he might not want to repeat as host. "No way.
