After-school soccer gets overweight children moving

Overweight and obese students who joined an after-school soccer program showed significant improvements in their moderate-to-vigorous physical activity after school and on Saturdays, a study on the website of the journal JAMA Pediatrics found. However, the intervention failed to boost activity, fitness or weight for all participants.
