Pa. district selects new pre-algebra curriculum for sixth-graders

Educators in a Pennsylvania district unanimously voted to adopt a new math program -- Glencoe Math -- for sixth-graders. The decision comes as school officials seek ways to prepare students for Algebra I in seventh grade and more rigorous math under Common Core State Standards.
