Verizon will give Ericsson's LTE video system a spin

Verizon Communications and Australian operator Telstra will try out Ericsson's technology that transmits TV signals via Long-Term Evolution networks through a carrier's single-frequency network. The goal is to provide operators with more flexibility so they can create an SFN using any subset of their cell network. This will enable carriers to tailor their signal to specific locations.
