Outlook: Baby boomers move into bonds

Retiring baby boomers will likely trade in their stocks for investments in the less-volatile bond market, which in turn would keep long-term investment rates low, some analysts and academics predict. Others, however, believe underfunded pension plans could spur more investments in stocks as retirees seek better returns.
