Ga. district enacts new social media policies for educators

School officials in Barrow County, Ga., have enacted new technology-use policies for teachers that forbid all social media connections between teachers and students not directly related to educational purposes. Officials say the new rules are in response to an influx in technology in school classrooms and are meant as a proactive measure.
