Baja Broadband is acquired by TDS in $267 million deal

Cable provider Baja Broadband is being acquired by Telephone and Data Systems, parent of TDS Telecommunications, for $267.5 million. The transaction, which requires approval from regulators, is slated to be finalized in the third quarter. Baja Broadband, which is owned by private firm M/C Partners, offers residential and business video, broadband and voice services in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Utah.
