Broadwind expects sales to pick up

Illinois-based Broadwind Energy, which landed a $27 million order this month, is predicting an uptick in sales this year, thanks in part to the continuation of the wind-energy Production Tax Credit. Sales slumped in the fourth quarter of 2012, as developers put projects on hold while awaiting congressional action on the PTC, Broadwind said.
