Exec: DuPont has an edge in cellulosic ethanol development

DuPont has a better shot at bringing cellulosic ethanol to the market than other companies because it has been working on the technology for 10 years now, CEO Ellen Kullman said. Aside from its wealth of experience, DuPont has a feedstock supply chain in place that could serve the plant it is building in Iowa, Kullman said. "We keep building on our learnings from previous projects and it's helping us do it faster and understand what we need from others and I think it's going to create a huge potential for success," Kullman said.
