Golf fitness program helps players improve their game

When country club manager Bill Horn realized members were significantly improving their game after attending the club's golf fitness sessions with an athletic trainer, he decided to push the program to golfers looking for lessons. “Everyone can swing the golf club better if they minimize their pain or discomfort, or if they just become more flexible,” Horn says. “So we wanted the staff to have better conversations with members and non-members to identify their injuries or limitations, and then get them to understand that golf-fitness sessions could help them play better—or at least feel better while playing.”
