History curriculum is undergoing reform in England

England Education Secretary Michael Gove's plans to reform the country's history curriculum to teach historical events as part of a narrative has received support from a group of 15 historians. The plan, which has been criticised by history teachers, includes the reintroduction of some topics that had been eliminated from the curriculum under other regimes and calls for history to be taught in chronological order.
