Individualized education helps drive Conn. district's success

Differentiated and developmentally appropriate instruction have helped Wilton School District in Connecticut raise achievement levels among students with disabilities, district officials say. The district uses a team-based approach to deliver services, bringing together multidisciplinary teams to collaborate on how to instruct students with disabilities and giving parents strategies to use at home.
