A look at digital's role in the retail model

Retailers across the country are working to figure out where and how digital fits into the overall retail business model and how the technology is driving change, according to a recent Shop.org study and panel discussion. "Whether you call it cross-channel, omnichannel or integrated digital strategies, we see organizational issues as critical to how we move forward [and] how we see the modern retail organization evolving," said study co-author Jim Okamura.
