OECD proposes new rules for multinational drug studies

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development has called on member nations to harmonize their rules for risk management of multinational clinical trials run by universities, hospitals and other nonprofit organizations. Such noncommercial drug trials increasingly involve study sites in multiple countries, and differing national regulations can raise barriers and costs.
