Reservists at 900 colleges may lose tuition assistance

The Defense Department may end tuition assistance for active-duty soldiers and reservists at more than 900 colleges that haven't signed a memorandum of understanding. Nearly 10% of active and reserve soldiers who draw tuition assistance attend schools that haven't signed the memorandum, according to Dr. Pamela Raymer of the Human Resources Command. The deadline to sign the memorandum is Friday.
