Wind power growth will speed up later this year, experts say

The pace of wind power development is expected to speed up later this year as a result of the extension of the wind-energy Production Tax Credit, experts said. The number of new installations is likely to slump in the first half of 2013, due "to the fact that the extension took so long to get passed," said Tim Maag, vice president and general manager at Mortenson Construction.
