Institute could offer model for personalized medical care

Ohio State University Medical Center and other area hospitals are working to develop the Institute for Personalized Health Care, which could become a national model for personalized health care research and development. After creating an expansive warehouse of medical information, the center would match the information with a patient's genetic, behavioral and environmental factors to identify risks for diseases and create a treatment plan.
