Students' pledge to believe in themselves builds self-esteem

Sandi Blass' 20 students with disabilities recite their own pledge every morning: "I believe in me. I will do my best each day. I believe if I work hard, I will succeed. I can learn. I will learn. I am worth it." Blass wants to remind her students -- whose disabilities include Down syndrome, autism-spectrum disorders and ADHD -- they they are capable of learning and achieving despite their challenges.
