Alaska utility endorses 24.6-megawatt wind project

The board of Alaska-based Golden Valley Electric Association unanimously voted to endorse its own Eva Creek wind farm, choosing it over Delta Wind Farm and Fire Island projects. The 24.6-megawatt Eva Creek wind farm would be Alaska's largest wind-power project and could be operational before 2013.
