China has a hearty appetite for U.S. brands, says Yum CEO

Yum Brands is looking to China for growth opportunities, says CEO David Novak. Yum divisions such as KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are seeing only slow to moderate growth in their core U.S. markets, but Chinese consumers are embracing the quintessentially American quickservice chains. "China is the biggest retail opportunity in the 21st century," Novak says.
