Technology empowers students with disabilities in Wis. district

Janesville, Wis., schools employ an educator to find the best new technology to address the needs of its students who have disabilities. Examples include a Refreshabraille 18 bluetooth translator, which features a Braille translator that allows second-grade student Kyle Beasley, who cannot see, to read and write using an iPad tablet computer. "They become so empowered," teacher Kathy White said.
