PCMA urges Postal Service to continue Sat. prescription delivery

Groups including PCMA are pushing back against the U.S. Postal Service's plan to end Saturday delivery of some mail. PCMA said prescription drug delivery should continue even if Saturday letter delivery ends. "About one in six prescriptions that are home delivered arrive on Saturday. Consumers count on getting their prescriptions at the right time and often can't wait an additional two days," said PCMA President and CEO Mark Merritt.
