Radisson Blu will drive Carlson Rezidor's growth, executive says

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group expects further growth in the global market spearheaded by its Radisson Blu brand, says Thorsten Kirschke, the company's president for the Americas, during the Carlson Rezidor Full Service Brands Business Conference this week in Chicago. The company launched 33 hotels around the world last year under the Radisson Blu brand and is looking to open 21 more this year in markets such as India, China and Russia. The growth comes as Carlson reaches the halfway point of its expansive Ambition 2015 strategy, through which many hotels in its portfolio have undergone repositioning and property-improvement projects.
