Research finds many stroke survivors have undiagnosed prediabetes

Data presented at the International Stroke Conference showed 1 in 3 survivors of stroke had undiagnosed prediabetes, while close to 4% had undiagnosed diabetes mellitus. Researchers found black stroke survivors had more than double the risk of having one of the undiagnosed conditions compared with white patients.
