Microsoft sees advertising inside cars of future

About five years down the road, ads may pop up on in-car infotainment systems, suggesting that the driver stop at Starbucks for a free MP3 track with a drink purchase. In-car advertising is not a stretch, considering drivers already see advertising on signs along the road or hear it on their car radios, said Martin Thall, Microsoft's Automotive Business Unit general manager.
