New school gym will be made of precast walls

Plans for a $12.5 million addition to the high school in York, Neb., are under way. Projects will include a new gymnasium, a fine-arts space and an administration/storage building. The gym will be constructed with precast panels because they’re "very efficient and cost effective," said Chad Beeson of the DLR Group. "We saw this as a good area where we can utilize precast."
