Ruslan Kogan, founder of Kogan Technologies in Australia, said he doesn't understand the hype around tablet computers, but he's happy to cash in on demand for such products created by Apple and other companies. "The iPad did kick-start this, because our business doesn't create demand, it services that demand. Creating demand is a very expensive business, and costs billions in marketing. You've got companies cashed up like Apple who [are] very capable of doing that job," Kogan said.
