Avaya targets large enterprises with comprehensive COS platform

Avaya has introduced a management solution for enterprise communication networks that provides end-to-end support over an array of services and facilities, including unified communications, data networking, video communications and contact centers. Avaya's Communications Outsourcing Solutions offering -- which the company has spent the last year testing with a group of 15 companies -- is aimed at large enterprises looking to upgrade their infrastructure or to optimize legacy equipment and services.
