Facebook's transition to Timeline-based brand pages has some marketers in a whirl about losing their default landing tabs, writes Jim Belosic. But don't panic, he writes: With a smart banner image and pinned custom applications, it's possible to replicate much of the functionality of the tabs. "[Y]ou can still drive up likes, fan-gate content and do everything else a well-designed Default Landing Tab did. It just takes a tad more creativity," Belosic writes.
