Minn. lawmakers introduce marriage equality bill

Sen. Scott Dibble and Rep. Karen Clark were among the Minnesota state lawmakers who submitted legislation this week that would allow same-sex couples to marry. Dibble and Clark, who are openly gay, said they were not sure if there are enough votes yet for passage. "I think we’re now ready to take the next step, and it means everything to our families," Clark said. Other co-sponsors include Republican state Sen. Branden Petersen.
